VISUAL DESIGN - COLOR CUES AND CARD FORMAT
DESIGN ETHOS: Traditional planning tools are often either overly complex or overly simplified and promise "one-size-fits-all" solutions. The major challenge we sought to address with our planning card system is balancing comprehensiveness and ease of use with a focus on tools that can be tailored to individual needs.
MODULARITY: Our designs integrate the most proven elements of effective planning with nothing unnecessary added. All of our tools are centered around interoperability and modularity so you can choose only the tools you need and that work with how you work best so you can stay focused on taking action.
COLOR CUES: Think of COLOR CUES like different colors of electrical wire that quickly provide a visual signal of their purpose. We built our planning tools around color cues and a bold, easily-referenced, visual, format so the friction of finding the information you need was reduced and the efficiency of planning was increased. No searching for anonymous white papers in a sea of anonymous white papers.
CARD FORMAT: Planning cards are like browser windows for your brain. Lay them out on the table and order them however you like or just keep one tucked in a notebook. The card format allows you to visualize planning information how it works for your brain and your planning process.
MATERIALS AND SUSTAINABILITY
Better Made Plans seeks to limit the environmental impact of its products and cultivates relationships with like-minded suppliers. Our planning cards are printed in partnership with a carbon-neutral printer and our cartons are printed on recyclable vellum. Our shipping materials emphasizing recyclable kraft cardboard, recyclable padded envelopes, and use of water activated kraft paper tape.
PAPER CHOICE
To ensure the longevity and durability of our cards, we print our planning cards only on 130# smooth white uncoated cardstock providing a noticeably thicker and more premium experience.
LICENSE AND PERMITTED USE
Printable tools and planning guides are sold with a limited, non-transferable, personal use license for the original purchaser. All copyrights are reserved by Better Made Plans LLC. Commercial or public distribution are prohibited. Please see our terms of service for further information.
Individuals interested in using the guides or printable tools in an institutional / organizational setting, should reach out to our customer support team (support@bettermadeplans.com) to discuss options.

DIGITAL PRODUCT REFUNDS
Unfortunately, given the nature of digital products, we cannot offer refunds on the purchase of planning guides or printable tools. If you are unhappy with your digital purchase, please reach out to us and we can work to identify potential solutions.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
PROCESSING TIME
We ship Monday-Friday and strive to ship orders within three business days. Orders may experience minor delays during high volume periods (sales / launches / holidays).
USA / DOMESTIC
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Within the United States, we offer Economy shipping as well as Priority / Expedited options. Delivery time is in addition to the fulfillment and order processing.
INTERNATIONAL
We offer a few different international shipping options through the mail or via FedEx. Shipping costs vary depending on the weight and destination and will be calculated during checkout.
NOTE: We do not collect any duties, taxes, or tariffs for international packages. These fees vary between countries and if any duties, taxes, or tariffs are due, they will be collected by the delivery service once the package arrives in your country.
RETURN WINDOW
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order number or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at support@bettermadeplans.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 1603 East Oklahoma Avenue, P.O. Box 70180, Milwaukee WI 53207, United States. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Please get in touch (support@bettermadeplans.com) if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items, gift cards, or digital products.
EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
EUROPEAN UNION 14 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
